0 – 6 years
Flashpoint Cardiff is suitable for under 7s. We have a specially built Den area, made for younger climbers to explore. Chat to us and sign up to supervise!
7 – 15 years
An adult who has registered at our centre will normally be allowed to supervise up to two children under 15 years old.
The supervising adult must take full responsibility for the safety of the participants and complete the relevant paperwork.
If you are supervising minors in Flashpoint you must be with them and actively monitoring them at all times.
Adults wishing to supervise must complete our adult registration form first. After that is completed a paper “minor supervision form” will then need to be completed for each child you are supervising. If there are multiple supervisors of one child then each adult will have to complete this process in full.
If you are on a tight schedule, please allow up to 15 minutes extra for this.
16 to 17 years
Competent boulderers aged 16+ are welcome to climb independently at Flashpoint, provided they fill out the relevant registration forms. Independent climbing for all ages is at the duty manager’s discretion and can be revoked at any time.
